No Dig

Charles Dowding’s No Dig was a complex non-fiction production with so many visual elements including graphs, tables and step by step guides making the transition from page to audio incredibly challenging. We worked closely with DK during pre-production to offer solutions in our editorial notes and also scripted call to action points whenever we felt it was necessary to direct listeners to the accompanying PDF, whilst also advising what needed to be included in that document.

The author narrated this title and after assessing his previous audiobook performance, we invited him to the studio for development sessions. We were able to help him improve his narration and create a plan for the recording of No Dig ahead of starting work on the book.
